Reunion at 24 Hour Fitness

I bump into a lot of people I know at the gym... relatives, old friends, etc.

I recently bumped into my high school English teacher. Haha, she was there with a personal trainer. She asked me how I was doing, etc.

I then bumped into an old elementary/middle school friend, Monica. Wow, Ludy and I haven't seen her in like forever! Parle was like, "Seriously? You haven't seen her since middle school? You haven't seen her at the mall or whatever?" It was funny because my friend, Parle, went to high school and college with her, so she's seen her more recently then I have. I didn't recognize Monica at first because I didn't pay attention... until Parle was like, "Hey! Come here! It's Monica!" She looked pretty much the same... just older.

I told my parents about it and they totally remember Monica. Apparently, my dad bumped into her dad 2 years ago when I was in China (Fall 2005). He told him that Monica was a manager at a Starbucks and my dad told him that I was in China learning Chinese.

Oh and my mom was like, "Do you remember Vinry?" And of course I do. She was my first friend in kindergarten. I remember she wanted to be just like me. She cried to her mom because she wanted a backpack just like mine. Her mom asked my dad where he bought my backpack and he said he got it for free somewhere. Haha. Anyway, my mom told me that she was married to some "American" guy and has a baby. I'm like, "Whoa!"

I remember my mom telling me about an old neighbor of mine, Linda. She said she's a pain in the ass for her parents because she wanted name brand clothing, and new clothes every few months, etc. And she wanted to be a model. My mom was like, "She can't be a model. Models are sexy and she's not sexy." LOL. I haven't seen her since she was like 7 or 8 so I wouldn't know.
