Drinking beer might cure colds

So my mom has been sick for the past few days. I think it's a cold or the flu... I'm not sure which. She's been drinking hot beverages, like boiled water and tea... but this morning I saw a bottle of Corono on the kitchen table around 10:30 AM in the morning. I teasingly asked my sister if she's been drinking. Turns out my mom has a kooky friend who told her that if she mixed beer with pickled lemon it would help... weird. I don't think it will work, but we'll see.

Oh yeah, and my sister was drinking apple juice out of a glass earlier in the morning and my mom thought she was drinking her beer and started yelling at her! LOL... good times...
